Gun control? Let’s put it into a larger perspective.
I recently watched City of Ghosts. This movie was so disturbing that I must do a couple of blogs about it.
First and foremost, be careful what you wish for. The people in the town of Raqqa, Syria fought the regime only to have a new regime come in and take over. ISIS.
This documentary shows people rolling into town wearing black masks, doing deplorable acts, and then enacting all sorts of ridiculousness to include no more hospitals, no more schools, and even no more satellite dishes since a group of residents was broadcasting the horrors online.
Here’s a bright idea for turning the prison system around. It’s beyond me how a person can become badly injured or killed with not much recourse while in the care, custody and control of the state or the feds. It’s illegal.
Prisons are poorly run facilities where incredibly, the inmates are actually in control. Everyone behaves as baboons in this high stress environment which affects inmates and employees.
The best at being the worst have the most control. Ironically this choice group is outnumbered by the weak and the meek. What to do?
State Representative Jessica Farrar has introduced a bill for Texas legislation making male masturbation illegal, as every single sperm is a potential child.
True that. And, you go, girl.
Abortion is a controversial subject. The people are evenly divided.
As a man, I can’t entirely comment on the female perspective: the circumstances, the decision, the how and why.
For the con, I have seen abortion animations where a baby is pulled apart limb by limb. It is disturbing.
For the pro. I don’t believe a woman’s decision should be subjected to oversight by a legal system, including professional opinions or otherwise.
The stages of grief: Anger, denial, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
I want to lash out in anger, but where?
I’m angry about people politicizing the issue. Democrats are blaming Republicans and making unbelievably incendiary comments that are painfully hypocritical. I could go on and on and make some great points specifically to the likes of Hayley Geftman-Gold who is now fired. But I really have one thing to say, because I’m angry.
F**k you and your kind.
I am also angry with the insane shooter. I want revenge and justice, both of which can’t be found with a dead guy.
Stink, Stank, Stunk.
The Massachusetts Cambridgeport Elementary School librarian, yes librarian, Liz Phipps Soeiro declined Dr. Seuss books donated by First Lady Melania Trump.
Soeiro writes about her school, “We still struggle to close the achievement gap, retain teachers of color, and dismantle the systemic white supremacy in our institution.” In other words, she admits to working for a white supremacist organization.
Soeiro claims her kids have access to tons of books and that Melania Trump should have given the books to the less fortunate: “Cities like Philadelphia, Chicago, and Detroit are suffering through expansion, privatization, and school ‘choice’ with no interest in outcomes of children, their families, their teachers, and their schools. Are those kids any less deserving of books simply because of circumstances beyond their control? Why not go out of your way to gift books to underfunded and underprivileged communities that continue to be marginalized and maligned by policies put in place by Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos?”
I can’t even believe what is happening in England on so many levels.
If these terrorist attacks continue, the anti-Muslim sentiment will far outweigh the cries of those who claim all are welcome in the name of religious freedom and religious tolerance. I hate to mention the name Trump, but in light of recent events, I can’t say the travel ban isn’t uncalled for. We may soon see the United Kingdom enact a travel ban even more encompassing, which would actually be welcomed by its citizenry.
The title I originally planned for this blog was going to be: Trump: Not the Best Orator, But Who Was? I’ll Tell You.
Having said that, I think Six Degrees is much more fun and I would love to see your detective work.
This fun Friday blog is indeed prompted by Trump’s pushing aside of Prime Minister Dusko Marvovic of Montenegro. I didn’t even read the article. It doesn’t matter. It’s a Trump thing. Personally, I believe we all would have enjoyed seeing the Prime Minister push back.
I happened upon said video recently of a guy cussing his brains out, making racial slurs and just being very inappropriate in general. What a jerk. I reposted it to my facebook. When I went to enter a comment, I got a bad taste in my mouth because this is when I actually read the original comment posted with the video by Shaun King.
I was totally ok with, and actually agreed with Part 1: “Damn this is despicable. An AMERICAN man was simply speaking Spanish to his own mother, who is Puerto Rican, when he was overheard by this white man – who goes off on him for not speaking English and proceeds to call him racial slurs, toss trash at him, and more.”
