Politicians do it, gang members do it; the power grab is even a tried and true technique in the mafia.
Why don’t cult members seize the opportunity for power?
Take, for instance, David Miscavige. This crazed and abusive dictator of Scientology is even shorter than Tom Cruise. At 5’3”, it wouldn’t be difficult to toss this whiny bitch of a man into a closet long enough to enact a takeover.
Whether due to vanity or good nature, why isn’t there at least one person willing to do the deed that would be appreciated by the many? Initiating a coup would be bold, but once started, many would fall in line.
You can’t make this stuff up, people.
“Unlikely Pairing” on Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, reveals a strange bedfellows relationship between Scientology and the Nation of Islam (NOI).
I’m not that familiar with the NOI, but I have heard questionable and overtly hateful speech against whites and Jews. This had led to my perception that this organization is more of a fringe-type extremist group for black people. Yet, I can’t blame the black community for espousing principles of independence and a non-reliance on the suppressive white man.
This is a very blind and sick faith. But that’s okay; vitamins are available.
I’m sure many scientologists are popping handfuls after crossing Leah Remini. Her series on this “religion”, meaning cult, is quite fascinating and she is a hard pill to swallow. Don’t mess with Brooklyn.
Pretty much everything Scientologists have been using to keep their members in line is backfiring against them.
Bullying people, name calling, taking video to intimidate ex-members. Not panning out. Youtubers see creepy people with creepy smirks saying creepy things to their victims. Straight up stalking and harassment.
Scientology is all kinds of weird. It is based on a lying, wife-beating, mad-man’s sci-fi delusions of grandeur. We’re talking L. Ron Hubbard and Dianetics. Watch the movie Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief. If you are interested in expelling aliens from your body, or if you would like pictures of Tom Cruise all around your home to worship as if he were the Supreme Leader of North Korea, then this is the cult for you.
Scientology claims they are a religion. They fought and won religious exemption status from the IRS by filing thousands of lawsuits. Yes, they actually took on the IRS and won. In return, as promised, the lawsuits were withdrawn.
