A lot of southern states keep trying to adopt the display of the Ten Commandments in public arenas, including state buildings and school classrooms. Of course, backlash follows, and rightfully so.
This goes against the First Amendment, but so should placing your hand on the good book of rape and murder before swearing an oath in court.
In any event, there are many more disturbing commandments in the bible. I plopped five of them into a fun video, but I have to point out the most screaming hypocrisy.
I was all gung-ho to talk about the display of the Ten Commandments in schools and in other public arenas. I planned on commenting on the rote recitation of the “Pledge of Allegiance” which includes “One Nation, Under God.” Instead, I stumbled upon some fascinating history.
The original pledge is not what we know: it didn’t include the United States or God.
“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” – Francis Bellamy, 1892
Roy Moore, politician and creepy-ass cracker, has been accused of diddling with a teen girl when he was in his thirties. Numerous other people have come forward to state that Moore was known for trolling teens at malls, as well as elsewhere.
Roy is now facing a lawsuit from one of his accusers. He is embarrassed about the toll this has taken on his family. Yes, it’s embarrassing to be you.
Perhaps Mr. Moore learned his poor pickup techniques in church because in an effort to distract, he is spouting off religious overtones against others he feels are bringing down our nation, specifically lesbians, gays and transgenders.
I am going to write a book. But first I need to do a lot of research, and that involves reading the Bible. I have never read it page to page. Twice in my life I started to read the Bible, but burned out in the first chapter on both occasions.
So far I am still in the Old Testament. It is an incredible read. We are not talking sex, drugs, and rock and roll, but rather incest and murder.
I am seriously wondering if this God is tricking people as the devil in disguise. God is mean, evil, vindictive, murderous, controlling, and contradictory. How is it that millions of people are able to reconcile his actions? It gives a whole new feeling to the term “God-fearing people”. You should fear him. He is one cruel and twisted dude.
